RATES & POLICIES

Rates (effective June 1, 2007):

DOGGIE DAY CARE: $15 per dog, per day
(you can do all three days or just one day...or even do every other week to better fit into your budget)

BOARDING: $15 PER NIGHT PER DOG – SPECIAL PRICE FOR SUMMER 2007
RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE ARE REQUIRED

PLEASE NOTE: PROOF OF UP-TO-DATE VACCINATIONS, INCLUDING RABIES, DISTEMPER, PARVO AND KENNEL COUGH, MUST BE PRESENTED BEFORE DOGS ALLOWED ON PREMISES. THANK YOU.

ALL DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE DAY CARE SESSION OR AN OVERNIGHT STAY TO BE EVALUATIED FOR GROUP SOCIAL SKILLS.

POLICIES:

GENERAL POLICIES APPLICABLE TO ALL:
-Rates and policies are subject to change at our discretion and without notice. For current rates please call or check our website. Payment for all services is accepted in cash or checks only. (payable to           Nadine Graham)

-Prior to any services being provided, proof of ALL vaccinations must be provided (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and kennel cough). Kennel Cough vaccines take several days to become effective so plan accordingly. 

-All customers must use flea & tick control products (collars, dips or drops) to avoid infestation. It is very likely that your dog will come in contact with fleas and ticks. If your dog is repeatedly found with fleas or ticks, all services will be suspended.

-There is a $25 service charge on all returned checks and all future services paid in cash. There will be a 5%/mo. interest rate imposed on all accounts unpaid beyond 30 days.

-You must provide leashes, food, medication, carriers and other appropriate supplies for us to care for your pets and to keep them comfortable. 

-We reserve the right to seek emergency veterinary services for your pet while it is in our care. We will make every possible attempt to contact you; however, we may need to make a judgment call. You must immediately reimburse “Starr Dog Pet Shop” for any such costs incurred.

-Certain risks are involved in having your  attend doggie day care and boarding such as cuts & nicks, dog bites, strain, stress, contact with fleas and ticks, etc. Every attempt will be made to avoid but we are not responsible for any such costs arising from these risks.

DAYCARE & BOARDING POLICIES:
-All dogs are required to attend one day care session or an overnight stay to be evaluated for group social skills.

-Day care services are on Monday to Friday (rain or shine). Drop off & pick up times are 7am drop off and up to 6pm pick up. Pick ups after the 6:30pm grace period must be pre-approved and incur $2 per half-hour. Please call ahead if you’re early for pick ups as all dogs are prepared to go home based on your pre-determined time.

-Random day care services are payable each day upon pick up of your dog. Regularly scheduled, recurring day care services are payable on the last day of service each week. If payment for previous week is not received, services will be suspended until all charges are paid.

-Boarding on major Holidays will incur an extra $5.00per night on top of the regular boarding fee.  

-Dog’s nails must be kept short. The dogs play very vigorously and I play along with them. Serious injuries and bruising can occur with long nails. If your dog arrives at day care or boarding with long nails, they’ll automatically be clipped and you will be charged the regular fee.

-Dogs must be kept clean and odor free. Please be considerate of my home environment. Dogs that arrive to day care or boarding that are in need of a kennel bath will automatically be bathed and you will be charged the regular fee.

-ALL day care and boarding dogs must be housebroken. If it’s determined after services begin that your dog is not house trained, future services will be canceled.

-ALL day care and boarding dogs must have basic obedience. If it’s determined after services begin that your dog lacks basic obedience, future services will be canceled.

-Neutering/Spaying is a pre-requisite for day care or boarding.
You will be required to sign a release waiver detailing these policies
